したたり：縞コール地と片身替え

ヌメ革のようなテクスチャーの綿を片身合わせにした小袖と、モーニングの礼服用ズボンのウールで仕立てた袴との堂々としたコーディネート。
片身替えの小袖は、綿100％だが、綾織によってヌメ革のように滑らかな光沢が生み出されています。木綿なので 丈夫で扱いやすく、その適度な厚みによって、着用時の皺も ゆったりとした艶になります。その同素材の黒とグレーを、左右別色の片身替えで仕立てました。小袖は、機能性を重視しデザインした特許製品なので、裾のカットや隠しポケット、同素材の左右反対色を使った袖口や共衿先の装飾と、細部に至るまで 趣向を凝らしています。 すっきりとした着姿と、野生的な力強い艶を楽しめる小袖に仕上がりました。
一方の袴は、縞コール地で仕立てています。一般的にはコールズボン地といわれ、礼服のモーニングコートに合わせるコールズボン用の、黒、白、グレーの縦縞柄のウール生地のこと。流石は礼装用と言える上質さで、糸の打ち込みも緻密な織物ゆえ、通常のウールより 若干重さを感じますが、ヒダは際立ち、シルエットも美しく、素晴らしい仕上がりです。元々がズボン用の素材なので、丈夫で しなやか、シワも気になりません。
ブラックフォーマル的な袴式和服の上半身を、黒とグレーの落ち着いた片身替えにすることで、クラシカルを装いながらもアグレッシブな、よそ行きコーディネートに調いました。

The Kosode, which has a different color on the left and right, is 100% cotton, but the twill creates a tanned leather-like smooth sheen. It’s made of cotton, so it’s tough and easy to handle, and its moderate thickness makes the drape loose and shiny when worn. The same material, black and gray, is tailored in different colors on the left and right. Kosode is a patented product designed with an emphasis on functionality. The hem cut, pockets, and the cuffs made of the same material in gray are decorated, and even the hidden parts are collaboratively designed.
On the other hand, Hakama is made of cold-pants fabric that matches the morning coat of his formal dress. Commonly referred to as cord trousing, it is a vertically striped wool fabric in black, white and gray. As expected, it is of a quality that can be said to be for formal wear, and the thread driving is a delicate fabric, so it feels a little heavier than regular wool, but the folds stand out, the silhouette is beautiful, and the finish is wonderful. Originally made for trousers, it’s tough, supple and wrinkle-free.
HAKAMA-SHIKI’s black formal upper body was styled in subdued black and gray with different colors on the left and right for a classically yet aggressive formal look.
