冬コレクションに掲載の組み合わせの中から。格子柄ジャカード織の小袖と、黒漆のように樹脂コーティングを施したデニムの黒袴との、ダンディーなコーディネート。
ジャカード織の小袖には、格子柄のラインの中に金色のラメ糸が織り込まれています。 格子柄の小袖の特徴は、織り柄の精緻さだけではなく、ポリエステルと綿との絶妙なブレンドが良いのです。 軽く しなやかで、シワになりにくくて、着姿に もたつきもありません。
特許製品である小袖の長所を最大限に活かしてくれる素材と言えます。 補正要らずでも すっきりとしたシルエット、裾のカットやポケット等の隠れた部分の細工における機能性、軽い着心地と防シワ効果など、随所に生地の特性との相乗効果が吉。 格子柄の配色・大きさのバランスも良。 細か過ぎる格子柄は無地感が増すし、大き過ぎる格子柄は奇抜さが気になるものですが、この小袖における格子の大きさ・配色は、衣服の柄としての存在感は丁度良いのです。 個性的ながら悪どく見えず、上品。配色も日本的。袖口や裾、共衿先の装飾は、この格子柄の邪魔をせぬように、同素材の裏を使いシンプルに仕上げました。 生地の軽さを味わえる単衣仕立てで、メンテナンスも簡単。 そして、肩から袖口への美しい稜線も◎。
