二重廻し：ポップアート・ゴブラン

様々な著名人の顔が埋め込まれた白黒のブロックチェック。 そのポップアート柄をゴブラン織で表現した生地から仕立てた二重廻しコート。
一般的に、繊維の基本的な加工技術は、織りと染めに大別されますが、縞などの単調な柄以外の表現は、染め加工によるものが大半です。 しかし、このポップアート柄は複雑でありながらも、織り加工によって表現され、しかも それぞれの人物の顔の特徴をよく捉えています。 染めによる表現に比べ、重厚な風合いとも相まって、男性的な印象です。 モノクロの配色も潔く、モダンに着こなせることでしょう。 コートに対して、ただの防寒着だと勘違いしていた多くの人々の目を覚まさせるくらいの、衝撃的な二重廻しですね。 ちなみに、内側には、控えめながらも主張を感じさせるマットな燕脂色の軽めの裏地を合わせました。 妖しげな色がチラリと見える仕掛け。
