大柄ヘリンボーンのツイードにラミネートを施したマント。ツイードの凹凸が光沢を纏って、レザーのような表情を見せる。
最も特徴的と言える表地は、白と黒の太めの紡毛糸で織られた大柄ヘリンボーンのスコッチ・ツイードの表全面にＰＵフィルムでラミネートした生地です。粗野感のあるツイードの表面の凹凸はそのままに、ラミネートにより立体的な光沢を纏わせました。ザックリとしたツイードとラミネートの掛け合わせは、モダンな切れ味を持ちながらも クラシカルな上品さを漂わせます。加えて、ラミネートの効果により、しなやかなツイード生地にハリがもたらされるので、裾に向けて末広がりに完璧なシルエットを描き出すのです。そして、糸の引っ掛けや、汚れも付きません。
また、マットなエンジ色の裏地を合わせて、ちらりと覗く内側も印象的に演出しています。和服の衿元ともマッチする衿や、両脇にポケットのように見える手を出すためのホールなどの細やかな細工も丁寧。モノトーンの配色も相まって、普段使いからフォーマルまで、或いは洋服にも…と組み合わせ方も幅広いのです。大胆なシルエットと豪華なドレープ、幅広い汎用性が三位一体となったマントには、至高のダンディズムが漂います。
