着古して継ぎはぎが入った衣服の如く 部分部分で織り方を変えてパッチワーク調に仕上げた風土ローブ。たくましい見た目で 優しい風合い。
枯れ草色の素材は、異なる生地をランダムに繋ぎ合わせたクレイジーパッチワークのようですが、それぞれの箇所ごとに織り方を変えることで、そのように見せている１枚の織物です。さらに、所々へ甘撚りの太い糸や節糸などの意匠糸を織り込むことで、装飾的な表面効果も出しています。全体的に、野趣に富む 地厚で丈夫な衣服…と言ったイメージを作り上げてますが、実は 肌触りの良い柔らかな風合い。カーキ色の滑りの良い裏地が付いており、良質な総裏仕立てとなっています。飾り気のないごわついた剛毅木訥さを装いながら、実際には軽量で シワにもならず、高機能なのです。もちろん、美しいシルエットも持ち味。
フードや袖奥に現れる美しい陰影、風を孕む裾や袖、折り返しにより印象が変化する前立てや袖口と、随所に発揮される《和服パーカー》の特性に、素材の持ち味が加算されると、着る者に 侘び寂びた風情まで纏わせてくれます。
