元禄時代に流行した 大柄で派手な石畳や輪違い、格子などの模様を元禄模様と呼びます。 この大格子も、エメラルドグリーンというモダンな色を使いながら、かすれた柄行きと粗めの風合いにより、充分に古風で伊達な雰囲気を湛えています。 ビスコースと麻で織り上げてあり、かすれてワイルドな見た目に反して、肌にしっとりと優しく、静電気も起きにくい素材。 何より、黒地に鮮やかに浮き上がるエメラルドグリーンの大きな格子模様が示す通りの、発色の良さです。 単衣仕立てで、普段から気軽に着回せることでしょう。
